Double Play Pizza
I visited this fantastic place today because I had a craving for lasagna. My first impression was excellent because a very nice person, with a genuinely pleasant smile greeted me from the other side of the counter (nothing like a smile to make you feel welcomed). 
Double Play Pizza is a family owned business with Chuck, Margi, and their daughter Heaven making sure their service satisfies the Inland community. They have been running Double Play Pizza since October 2012. Lets make them feel welcomed.
While I waited for my lasagna to be made, several people came in, one came for a pizza slice, which is an awesome price, and some one else (a doctor) came in for a sandwich. 
I saw Charles, the owner, prepare the pizza doe and run it through a press. Its great to see how things are made from scratch. 
Talking about making things from scratch, they have HOME MADE cake; Yummy!
Meeting this wonderful family was great, but my biggest surprise was when I got home with my lasagna!!! WOW, awesome. The lasagna was smooth and tasty through and through, you can taste each individual layer and no one single ingredient overpower the other. 
It was a perfect blend for a very satisfying meal; just the right size. A very affordable lunch. I’ll definitely be coming back for other things in the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
UPDATE:
OMG I had to check out the pizza and was NOT disappointed!!! First impression was picking up the box with the hot pizza inside; it was heavy. I knew then it was going to be good. 
I could not wait to get home and check it out and share my experience with you. Let me say, it was LOADED with my favorite ingredients (cheese, mushrooms, and olives). You really have to check this place out, it was the best pizza I’ve tasted in our area. This one was and extra large and we paid half what we pay anywhere else. THE BEST.
If you are ever in the neighborhood in Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma area, or anywhere in the Inland Empire, come and visit this wonderful place for a very pleasant surprise.
