HOLIDAYS
HALLOWEEN
The Holidays came by in a quick hurry. Halloween came around with a BIG hoopla of advertising, decorations, and preparation. Our neighbors in the Alta Loma area of the Inland Empire came together to create an unforgettable experience for all who dared to venture in their direction. On my way to work I would see the progress of the Halloween Spirit come together. Children at the school where I work would talk about these houses displaying a variety of monsters, ghosts, spiders and graves. They made us all feel like children and admire in great awe at the transformation. Talking to the owner of the house and their friend, I found out that hundreds went through their houses. They have been doing this for 6 years. Great job.

CHRISTMAS
Here we are, 4 days until THANKSGIVING and we see the spirit of Christmas taking over the neighborhood, TV, newspapers, and computer. Leading the way are our neighbors that brought us an awesome Halloween. Again, they have totally impressed us with their decorations and displays of the upcoming holiday. Not only are there lights with a multitude of colors, but there is a great nativity bringing the spirit of what Christmas represents to those who visit the area. Thank you neighbors for sharing with us your Spirit of the Holidays.
THANKSGIVING
Buried between HALLOWEEN and CHRISTMAS sits THANKSGIVING. It seems that each year the advertising and promotions for Christmas overlaps greatly the holiday that brings families together like no other. Thanksgiving is when we give thanks for what we have, as we all know. It doesn’t matter that our house is small, full of old things, or that some things don’t work. Home is home! is where we feel welcomed, loved, and where we find our family. Without a doubt, Thanksgiving is the most personal and private holiday we have.
I will like to wish a VERY Happy Thanksgiving to my family, neighbors, friends, internet friends that I have known for years, and friends that I have never met. The family, as little or big as it may be, is what makes THANKSGIVING a time to rejoice, to prepare, decorate, and to Give Thanks. Most important to me is that all those people I love and care for are well, warm, have something to eat, and are happy.
May your THANKSGIVING be full of love
That is the most important thing. Share with us what you are thankful for. I will love to hear from you.
