Every town has its share of bakeries. In my town of Rancho Cucamonga we have a few bakeries. Of the ones that I have visited I keep going back to this little family owned bakery: JUICE GARDEN BAKERY, which is my favorite bakery; it sells juices, ice cream, cakes, bread, and a variety of baked goodies.
Although the name appears to imply juices as the main part of the shop, it is not totally juices. In my view of the bakery, it is mainly devoted to great pastry. Every time I go in it has an assortment of freshly baked goods. They have a variety of cookies: lemon, peanut-butter, sugar cookies, chocolate, and more. They bake the familiar Conchas, Mantecado, Puerquitos, Ojo de Buey, Orejas, and many more.
BOLILLOS
My favorite is the BOLILLO, which is a bread roll. I love it because every time I go there the bread is freshly baked, still warm, super soft and smells delicious!
Besides the pastry that can be picked up off the shelves, they take orders for custom-made cakes for all occasions, just come on by, go through the book, and place your order.
When you enter the bakery you are greeted by a very nice young lady, the daughter of the owner. The prices are awesome, the service is great, and the food is superb. A must-visit bakery when you come down to the Inland Empire.
Always looking for a good homemade bakery, will check them out.
